What do you tend to worry about in the middle of the night?
Usually whatever I'm worrying about in the middle of the day. Seriously, I don't tend to have trouble sleeping unless I'm already very preoccupied during the day.
Have you ever burned yourself?
Has anyone not? Accidentally, I mean. Yes, I've burned myself - fat, water, caramel, hotplates, oven trays, wax. And the list will only get longer as I get older, I'm sure.
What is the birth order in your family? Do you think it has an affect on your personality?

Me, Renata, Rowan.
I have no idea, the only way to test it out would be for me to be born a second time (And I've already done the Christian thing) in a different order than that.
What was the bravest thing you did in 2008?

Mine would have to be making the move to a place where I didn't know anyone at all. I'm not doing too badly, and soon I'm sure I'll have a great network up here too. In the meantime, I have Brooke & Matt who are fantastic, but unfortunately don't know anyone up here either, so I don't get to meet new people through them.
Second in line for first place would be Honours. I could just as easily have started a job at the end of 2007, but I didn't. I continued on, and I'm glad I did, I really enjoyed it, even though at times I hated it.
I learnt that taking a chance and making a change is worthwhile, and that knowledge for the sake of knowledge is a fantastic thing.
have a great remainder of 2008, and a happy 2009 everybody!
Have you ever volunteered for something? If so, what?
I've volunteered for heaps of stuff. Most recent was organising the SoCIS dinner, but if you count my pre-18 involvements I've volunteered as:
- Online Access Center assistance
- High School Site Committee member
- Singer for a number of things
- Sunday School Teacher
- Youth Leader
- Worship Leader
- Leader of Campus Christian group "ID"
- I don't know whether I can claim my student enterprise stuff as volunteering.
- Computer teacher for some Ulysses Motorcycle Club members.
- on the Working It Out Steering Committee
- in Fruity Bits
- organising QSOC functions
- Christmas Bowl Appeal fundraiser
- Sheet-music sorter
- Singer for this and that
- Counsellor for Working It Out
- Proofreader
- Marker
- Tutor
I think I've made a bigger difference in my post-18 stuff than in my pre-18 stuff.
If you were running for president, who would you choose as your running mate?
A Shotgun. Why? If I ever run for president, shoot me!
Would you rather give away your money or give away your time?
Submitted by Ross
It really depends on the cause, what's required, and how passionate I am about it.
sometimes these things need money, so that's what I provide when I can, other times it's people to help, and I provide that when I can, too.
I prefer neither over the other, although I find time easier usually 'cos I'm a student.
What's your definition of home?
Submitted by NayNay72
Home is... I don't know really. Home is a few things. Home is an emotional attachment to a location. My home will always be in Tasmania, I think. Home is wherever your surroundings are yours. My room in Launceston is Home, as is Mum and Dad's house in Penguin, as is the house in Lulworth, and as is the Swift to an extent. At Home you have roots and things which connect you to important times.
Home is where I feel most comfortable. Home is in your own bed. Home is the space in which you can just be you, where you don't have to worry what other people will think of whatever you're about to do. Home is where the batteries recharge.
Home is what you make it, really. But the best definition of home that I can come up with is:
Home is a place which relaxes you upon entering... "I'm home, ahhhhhh" *kick off shoes and flop down on the couch and just sit for a while* that's home to me.
What's the best pick up line you've ever heard?
Don't have a good pickup line, but I *have* heard an awesome rebuttal. (unfortunately, I wish it was actually in a bar situation, and not what a friend was told upon calling back after a date)
"I think we'd make better strangers."
